Our yoga studio is a beautiful 700 sq ft space rebuilt expressly for yoga and exhibiting artwork. Housed in a renovated 19th Century livery stable, the floors are radiant heated with hot water and students face east toward a wall of windows. The 11ft ceilings and large windows give a light atmospheric feel to the space. If you come for a morning class you can watch the sunrise over the three-deckers across the cobblestone courtyard. SHYC is a cooperatively owned yoga studio. Teachers manage every aspect of the studio. Teachers at Savin Hill Yoga Cooperative share equally in the responsibilities of operating the studio and developing policy. Each teacher is free to form and develop their own practice in their classes while sharing the common needs like administration, overhead and maintenance. SHYC is a transparent democratic model of cooperation. Isn't that what your studio should be?

If you have an idea for a class don't hesitate to call 617-429-9597 to discuss your idea with us. This is a 19th century livery stable recently renovated with heated rubber floors and huge windows. We are located in a vital and diverse community close to downtown Boston. We are 5 minutes walk from the Savin Hill stop and 10 minutes walk from the JFK stop on the redline. Our space is usable for a wide range of group activities. A Tai Chi class, maybe a meditation or dance group would all be a good fit. For one low rate you cover all of your overhead expenses. This leaves you free to organize and promote your class. All classes are promoted through our contact lists and advertised on our site and other promotions.
